Amsterdam-London, June 2013– Yardi, one of the leading developers of software for investment, asset and property management, announces that Sabine Bentvelzen, Director and Project Developer at Ericis is the winner of the 5th Annual Yardi/Vastgoedmarkt Young Talent Award.
The Yardi/Vastgoedmarkt Young Talent Award was created to recognise up and coming real estate talent; the award is presented once a year to a young professional that stands out and has distinguished him or herself in the Dutch real estate sector. In previous years Jeroen Lokerse, (Cushman & Wakefield), Lonneke Wijnhoven, (Heijmans Vastgoed), Sara Veldhuizen, (formerly Savills now with Regus) and Erik Groen, (ABC Management Group) have won this prestigious prize.
Sabine Bentvelzen and two other candidates, Philippine Bogaardt (Account Manager – DTZ Zadelhoff) and Karst Hagedoorn (Employee Integral Projects – Trebbe) were selected from five initial candidates to compete at a debate during Amsterdam’s Provada 2013 real estate exhibition to decide the winner.
Following an intense debate the competition closed with Sabine Bentvelzen selected as the strongest candidate. Sabine was duly awarded the Young Talent prize with her award presented by Cor van Zadelfhoff.
At 26 years old, Sabine has already proven very successful. Sabine earned two bachelor’s degrees in real estate and holds the position of Director and Project Developer at Ericis. Her specialties are real estate advice, development and investment strategies. Yardi congratulates Sabine and extends very best wishes for her future career.
